Social Media & Digital Communications Director (Volunteer)
The Director of Communications & Social Media is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping and sharing the EFPRP's story across Europe. This position oversees all communication channels and content to raise public awareness , drive engagement, and build support for the organization's mission of wildfire prevention and rural preservation.

Responsibilities
- Create and execute a comprehensive communications and social media strategy aligned with the EFPRP's goals
- Ensure all public messaging is consistent and reflects the organization's core values.
- Oversee the production of all digital and social content, from campaigns and press releases to educational materials.
- Act as the primary media contact and build relationships with journalists and European-wide media outlets.
- Lead and mentor a team of student volunteers and staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
Must Have
- Proven experience in a communications or public relations role.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics, and content management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
- Passion for the EFPRP's mission and a desire to make a tangible impact.
Nice to have
- Experience in a non-profitorganization.
- Familiarity with graphic design and video editing software.
- Knowledge of wildfire prevention, ecology, or environmental preservation.
- Ability to communicate in multiple European languages.
