Sharepoint / Power Platform Solution Architect

My client is looking for a SharePoint/ Power Platform Solution Architect with a strong technical engineering background and a passion for shaping client solutions in pre‑sales engagements.

You’ll play a key role in designing modern, cloud‑based application architectures built on Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Copilot), Copilot Studio, and the Power Platform. Working directly with their clients, you’ll help challenge assumptions, guide technical decisions, and define clear roadmaps that support their transformation goals.

This role blends solution architecture, hands‑on technical leadership, and commercial influence. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, sales teams, and delivery colleagues to ensure our solutions are innovative, scalable, and aligned with business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape solution concepts and high‑level architectures during early client discussions.
• Contribute to proposals, estimations, and solution offerings across Modern Workplace engagements.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, workshops, and architecture reviews.
• Support RFP/RFI responses and communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.

Solution Architecture & Delivery Oversight

• Architect solutions using SharePoint Online, SPFx, Teams custom apps, Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and broader M365 capabilities.
• Define end‑to‑end solution blueprints, integration patterns, ALM approaches, and delivery frameworks.
• Challenge and validate architectural choices to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and maintainable.
• Provide technical direction to engineering teams and uphold ALM, SDLC, and code‑quality standards.
• Support teams in applying Agentic AI principles and adopting modern engineering approaches across the M365 ecosystem.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert in Modern Workplace and M365 application architecture within the business.
• Ensure solution integrity and quality throughout design and delivery.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to capability development across the practice.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and support long‑term satisfaction through high‑quality outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Must‑Haves

• Strong experience designing and delivering solutions using:
• SharePoint Online & SPFx
• Microsoft Teams custom applications
• Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Platform architecture
• TypeScript, React, and modern front‑end engineering
• Good understanding of Agentic AI concepts and agent‑based solution patterns.
• Hands‑on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience supporting pre‑sales, client workshops, and enterprise solutioning.
• Ability to translate business needs into logical, well‑structured technical architectures.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for varied audiences.
