SharePoint / Power Platform Developer (Senior Systems Developer) – ServiceNow & SharePoint Online Development – Govt. Contract (NSF)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SharePoint / Power Platform Developer to deliver custom SharePoint Online and Power Platform solutions for the National Science Foundation. The role focuses on digital transformation, data‑driven decision making, regulatory compliance, and seamless integration of IT systems for federal human‑capital management.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement workflow automation, knowledge‑management solutions, and digital forms using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and other Power Platform components.
- Build, configure, test, and maintain custom SharePoint Online solutions, including dashboards, apps, automations, and integrations.
- Enhance operational efficiency through process automation and improve data‑driven decision making with role‑based analytics.
- Support regulatory compliance and federal HR policies while facilitating seamless integration of IT systems and workforce‑planning tools.
- Optimize service delivery through performance‑based outcomes, service‑level agreements, and continuous improvement.
- Document deployment, support procedures, and best training practices.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with SharePoint Online and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Proficiency in ServiceNow and related enterprise systems is a strong plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong technical execution, project management, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, handle complex deliverables, and meet project milestones.
- U.S. citizenship required; no visa sponsorship.
Location & Contract
Hybrid work model in Alexandria, VA (and throughout the Mid‑Atlantic region). Exempt, W2 contract with no overtime compensation.
