SEO Specialist
This role is centered on driving organic growth for a fast-scaling e-commerce brand through data-driven SEO strategy, technical optimization, and high-impact content performance. You will take ownership of improving search visibility, increasing qualified traffic, and enhancing conversion performance across product and content pages. Working in a collaborative and performance-oriented environment, you will partner closely with content, development, UX, and marketing teams to execute scalable SEO initiatives. The position requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, particularly in technical SEO, keyword strategy, and link acquisition. You will play a key role in shaping how users discover and engage with a growing global e-commerce platform. Accountabilities
- Develop and execute a full-funnel SEO strategy focused on improving rankings, organic traffic, and conversions across the website.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify growth opportunities across product categories, content, and landing pages.
- Optimize on-page SEO elements including metadata, internal linking structures, content hierarchy, and site architecture.
- Lead technical SEO improvements in collaboration with development teams, including site speed, crawlability, indexation, and structured data.
- Design and implement scalable link-building and digital PR strategies to improve domain authority and competitive keyword rankings.
- Build partnerships and outreach campaigns with relevant publishers, bloggers, and industry websites for high-quality backlinks.
- Collaborate with content, UX, and product teams to ensure SEO best practices are embedded across all digital assets.
- Monitor performance using tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog, and drive continuous optimization.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally within e-commerce or direct-to-consumer (DTC) environments.
- Proven expertise in developing and executing successful link-building and off-page SEO strategies.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, including site architecture, crawl optimization, and structured data implementation.
- Experience with on-page SEO, content optimization, and keyword strategy development.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and Screaming Frog.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, marketers, content creators, and designers.
- Familiarity with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
