Senior Electronic Systems Engineer

GTS Group is partnering with a satellite designer in Toulouse who needs a Senior Electronic Systems Engineer. This person will be leading the definition, design, and validation of onboard data handling systems. You’ll shape spacecraft data architecture, ensure seamless avionics integration, and drive system performance from design through testing.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Electronic Systems Engineer:

• Define and validate Onboard Data Handling (DHS) architecture, including memory and data buses (Ethernet and CAN).
• Support AIT campaigns: develop test procedures, automate TM/TC validation, and resolve anomalies.
• Review supplier deliverables and verify system interfaces.
• Collaborate with Ground Segment and Software teams to ensure end-to-end data integrity.

Requirements:

• Master’s in Aerospace, Avionics, or Embedded Electronics.
• 5+ years’ experience in satellite avionics or data systems.
• Strong knowledge of ECSS standards.
• Proven AIT testing experience.
• Familiarity with SCOS-2000 or EGS-CC would be ideal.
