Responsibilities
- Achieve QCD performance for the segment at Valeo sites, for both project and series procurements.
- Ensure competition conditions during RFQ phase, including sufficient qualified independent suppliers and valid offers with complete details.
- Challenge and negotiate supplier offers, using auctions when possible.
- Provide a matrix of offer analyses to allow rigorous comparison and fair decision‑making.
- Preside the sourcing committee (SoCo) for Valeo sites in your scope.
- Escalate alerts and request arbitration at the appropriate level if SoCo decisions are not accepted or applied by Operations or Projects directions.
- Act as representative of GSM and RSL for the role of "guardian of integration/exclusion rules" and the NBOH process within the assigned perimeter.
- Regulate capacity and dependency (supplier / client) during the market award process.
- Sign the generic VRF (Valeo Requirement File) and logistical requirements with suppliers assigned by GSM and RSL.
- Manage supplier relationships for GSM and RSL on your perimeter.
- Promote supplier performance improvement within your segment.
- Track supplier performance, negotiate, and drive improvement plans for the lowest-performing suppliers.
- Drive supplier risk mitigation for the segment.
- Ensure compliance with ethics and applicable laws with segment suppliers.
- Maintain a strong relationship with Process Engineering to ensure alignment with segment strategy and integration of regional/site needs.
- Establish medium‑term visibility on new market attributions and enforce volume bundling at early project stages.
- Prepare and drive the annual budgeting process for procurement in your segment.
- Develop an ambitious QCD improvement plan and obtain GSM validation.
- Perform relevant analyses on KPI indicators and implement improvement plans.
- Maintain up‑to‑date databases of procurement spend and market evolutions for your segment.
