Group Segment Leader

Your responsibilities:

• As part of a central team, you will participate in the definition of the purchasing strategy for the IT segment, working closely with the Group IT Department and communicate this strategy to your country correspondents, ensuring proper implementation.
• You will initiate all global tenders, ensuring that all the needs of the various countries or specifiers are taken into account, and will be responsible for governance throughout the purchasing process up to the implementation of the negotiated results.
• You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the purchasing processes and supplier panel defined in collaboration with internal stakeholders, in accordance with Valeo’s standards and procedures.
• You prepare the annual budget for your scope.
• You monitor your actions and suppliers using a number of indicators to measure and optimize the results of the policy deployed.
• You monitor developments in the market and solutions within your segments and markets.

About you:

• You have a Master’s degree in Purchasing.
• You have at least 3 years of experience as a Buyer in the IT/Telecom sector, in an international context.
• You possess negotiating skills and have a customer- and results-oriented approach.
• You are fluent in French and English.
