They work closely with software vendors and channel partners to drive growth, improve operational efficiency, and deliver high-value solutions to end customers. The business is recognised for its strong commercial performance, innovation, and commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.

The Opportunity

Due to continued expansion within their cybersecurity division, our client is seeking a Senior Security Sales Specialist to support the growth of their multi-vendor security portfolio. This role will play a key part in scaling revenue through channel partners by building new relationships and strengthening existing reseller networks.

Role Overview

This is a quota-carrying channel sales role focused on:

  • Driving cybersecurity sales through VARs and reseller partners
  • Developing and managing a consistent pipeline
  • Expanding and activating partner relationships

Key Responsibilities

Channel Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Deliver monthly and annual revenue targets
  • Drive adoption of cybersecurity solutions through partners
  • Build and maintain strong commercial relationships
  • Manage pipeline and forecasting through CRM systems

Business Development

  • Identify and onboard new VAR and reseller partners
  • Execute outbound outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn, events)
  • Conduct discovery calls, presentations, and value-led discussions
  • Generate early-stage opportunities with new partners

Account Management

  • Manage a portfolio of reseller accounts
  • Develop joint business plans to drive growth
  • Support partners on pricing, deal structuring, and positioning
  • Conduct regular pipeline and performance reviews

Pipeline Generation

  • Run structured outbound prospecting campaigns
  • Qualify inbound leads into opportunities
  • Maintain strong CRM discipline and accurate reporting

Collaboration & Go-to-Market

  • Partner closely with internal and vendor teams
  • Support joint campaigns, webinars, and partner initiatives
  • Contribute to account planning and pipeline reviews
  • Attend partner meetings and industry events

Operational Excellence

  • Follow internal processes for approvals and pricing
  • Maintain accurate reporting and forecasting
  • Provide market insights and competitive feedback

Product / Portfolio Focus

  • Endpoint, network, and cloud security
  • Identity and access management
  • Security monitoring and analytics
  • Email and user protection
  • Managed and co-managed security solutions

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistent achievement of revenue and profit targets
  • Growth and activation of new reseller partners
  • Strong pipeline visibility and forecasting accuracy
  • High partner engagement and repeat business
  • Effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

Candidate Requirements

Experience

  • 3-5 years' experience in cybersecurity or software sales
  • Proven success selling via VAR/reseller channel
  • Track record of achieving targets in a B2B environment

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions and market
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to balance new business and account management
  • Strong organisational and CRM management capability
  • Commercially driven with strong partner engagement skills

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Relevant cybersecurity or channel sales training is beneficial

Additional Information

  • Working hours: Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00
  • Travel: Occasional travel to partner meetings and events
