Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to guide our agile teams toward successful project delivery. The ideal candidate has a strong background as a Scrum Master, with the added advantage of prior experience in software testing or a relevant background in psychology. This unique combination will ensure efficient sprint execution and enhance communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Guide and support the team in agile practices, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles
- Identify and remove obstacles that impede project progress
- Collaborate with product owners to manage the product backlog effectively
- Promote the culture of continuous improvement, team collaboration, and open communication
- Utilize experience in software testing to support quality assurance practices
- Leverage psychological insights to nurture team cohesion and resolve conflicts
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment
- Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM) is highly desirable
- Previous experience in software testing OR a background in psychology is a plus
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and Scrum framework
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in English is a must, while proficiency in French is a plus
