Your mission
Reporting to the Engineering Director, you will run a team of software engineers and focus on delivery of team objectives, supporting the engineers, and hiring as needed.
Responsibilities
- Enhance our processes:
- Continuously adapt processes to the context, treating methodologies as evolving and living frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Quality teams to ensure the delivery of high‑quality products.
- Support teams in identifying and adopting the most efficient and effective ways of working.
- Promote and embed strong software development best practices within the team.
- Make things happen :
- Identify and address both global and local impediments to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor delivery closely and proactively flag any risks or issues.
- Implement the right tools and processes to support efficiency and performance.
- Empower and develop people:
- Provide clear purpose and direction to their work while supporting the development of their skill set.
- Encourage autonomy and help team members grow in confidence and ownership.
Your profile
- Previous experience as an Engineering Manager or People Manager.
- Background as a Software Engineer.
- Strong expertise in Agile frameworks and associated methodologies.
- Good understanding of team organization and scaling practices.
- Experience in recruiting, coaching, and developing engineers, while ensuring regular and constructive feedback.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
