SCM Engineer for Umbilicals and Flexibles

We are seeking a Senior SCM Engineer for Oil & Gas projects, focusing on procurement of complex engineered materials and services, specifically umbilicals and flexibles.

You will be responsible for managing procurement activities, ensuring delivery according to technical, safety, budget, schedule, quality, and contractual standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing procurement and strategic sourcing of umbilicals and flexibles.
• Collaborating with suppliers and assessing capabilities.
• Conducting market consultations and identifying new suppliers.
• Leading contract analysis and negotiations.
• Ensuring technical specifications are met and supporting testing processes.
• Developing expertise in relevant categories and building supplier relationships.

Profile requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or Business, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to understand technical discussions and evaluate impacts.
• Cost-saving orientation and good knowledge of offshore industry specifics.
• Strong communication skills and team orientation.

Working conditions:

Primarily based in La Defense office, with at least 4 days/week onsite and some international travel.
