Are you a seasoned Vessel Chartering Specialist with a knack for offshore operations? We're on the hunt for a talented professional to join our client's high-profile international offshore construction project. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in coordinating critical marine assets and ensuring project success!
About the Role:
As a Vessel Chartering Specialist, you'll be instrumental in overseeing the chartering and coordination of marine assets, ensuring seamless alignment with project needs, timelines, and budget constraints.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the full chartering process for a variety of vessels (AHTS, PSV, DSV, barges, etc.) to support offshore installation, construction, and logistical operations.
- Drafting, negotiating, and executing robust charter party agreements, ensuring compliance with all internal and legal standards.
- Liaising extensively with internal teams (marine operations, legal, insurance, procurement) and external partners (shipowners, brokers, agents) to align vessel operations with project objectives.
- Monitoring vessel performance, technical suitability, and HSE compliance throughout operations.
- Ensuring the timely mobilization, demobilization, and meticulous cost control of all chartered vessels.
- Contributing actively to the project's vessel strategy, including availability analysis, market intelligence, and risk mitigation.
Who We're Looking For:
We're seeking a proactive and solution-oriented individual with:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in vessel chartering, marine logistics, or offshore operations, ideally within the oil & gas or subsea industry.
- A solid understanding of charter party types, vessel specifications, and crucial marine regulations (including IMCA, SOLAS, MARPOL).
- Proven experience in contract negotiation, cost management, and operational follow-up.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential; knowledge of another European language is a definite asset.
- Familiarity with project-driven environments and dynamic planning constraints is highly valued.

Location: France, Dubai or London
Commissioning Schedule: ASAP
Daily rate: Must be all-inclusive (covering travel, accommodation, meals, equipment, etc.)
