SCADA Technician - Montpellier

Skilled Worker / Semi-Skilled Worker — Full-Time — Field Operations

Regional Support is responsible for overviewing, implementing and managing SCADA systems. The department collaborates with internal stakeholders and Vestas clients within Vestas MED. It delivers advanced monitoring, control, and data acquisition technology for wind applications and provides SCADA-related support to the Construction and Service Departments.

Responsibilities

• Level 1 support for SCADA and IT systems in windfarms.
• Platform problem solving, server hardware and software.
• Provide remote support to service technicians in on site operations.
• Provide and keep updated internal ticketing tools and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Technical education in IT, Electronics or similar.
• Experience in server operating systems, Linux and SQL servers, experience in VMware.
• Knowledge and experience of networking and their configuration.
• PLC programming and communication protocols (IEC 104, IEC 101, MODBUS, DNP, OPC).
• Comprehensive English skills, both verbal and written.
• Valid driver\'s license.
