Sap Materials Management Consultant

Global – Look for a SAP WM MM – Freelance – 6 months+ - Grenoble OR Budapest – Hybrid RED Global is looking for an experienced SAP ECC WM/MM Functional Consultant to support a DEX project. The consultant will play a key role in gathering business requirements, producing functional specifications, coordinating testing activities, and supporting business users throughout the project lifecycle.

Detail of the mission

Start Date ASAP

Freelance Contract – 6 months Renewable contract

Key Responsibilities

Deliver project milestones on time and ensure high-quality functional deliverables.

Analyse business requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications (CHR/FFS).

Act as the functional expert for

SAP ECC Warehouse Management (WM)

and

Materials Management (MM) .

Challenge and validate technical solutions to ensure they meet business requirements.

Prepare and execute

System Integration Testing (SIT) , including test scenarios and defect management.

Coordinate issue resolution with technical teams and independently resolve functional issues.

Prepare and execute cutover activities, ensuring a smooth deployment.

Support

User Acceptance Testing (UAT) , provide hypercare after go-live, and deliver training to key users and end users.

Functional specifications (CHR/FFS) completed and approved.

SIT preparation, execution, and defect tracking.

Functional issue analysis and resolution.

Cutover planning and successful execution.

UAT support, hypercare, and end-user training.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience with

SAP ECC Warehouse Management (WM)

and

Materials Management (MM) .

Experience writing functional specifications and coordinating development activities.

Hands-on experience with SIT, UAT, defect management, and cutover.

Ability to work closely with both business and technical stakeholders.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Fluent English (written and spoken).

Preferred

Previous experience working on large-scale SAP transformation or deployment projects.

Experience in warehouse and logistics processes within SAP ECC.
