We are seeking an experienced SAP FIN CO Consultant to join our teams.

This is a Fixed term role of 12 months (CDD), to work remotely if you are based in France.

Role Overview

The SAP FIN CO Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules to meet business objectives and enhance financial operations. This role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that SAP solutions align with organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Configuration of SAP FI, CO modules. COPA – Top-down distribution.
• Bank Payment – Integration /Interface and experience in handling partial payment and automation.
• Looking for improvement opportunities in business systems – Assisting in testing process to discover errors and issues in business processes, documentation.
• Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements.
• Design, customize, configure and testing of FICO.
• Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
• Analyze business requirements related to financial and controlling processes and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Configure and customize SAP FI and CO modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and more.
• Lead or support SAP FIN CO implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, conduct workshops, and provide training on SAP FI/CO functionalities.
• Develop and maintain documentation for configurations, customizations, and business processes.
• Identify and resolve issues in SAP FIN CO modules, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting.
• Work closely with other SAP module consultants (e.g., MM, SD, HR) to ensure seamless integration across the SAP landscape.
• Assist in system testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment activities.
• Stay updated on SAP best practices, new features, and regulatory requirements impacting financial systems.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 4+ years’ experience in SAP FI/CO configuration and support.
• 4-5 years’ experience in SAP FI and CO modules primarily GL, AR, AP, FA, PS, Bank Recon, Tax.
• Worked in Implementation or Supported S/4 HANA Projects.
• Strong understanding of financial and controlling business processes.
• Experience with SAP implementation projects, including full lifecycle deployments.
• Knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules.
• Experience in bank interface payment medium using DMEE.
• Good knowledge on Year End and Month End activities to support users in FI area.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
• Fluent in French and English B2/C1 level is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP certification in FI and/or CO modules.
• Experience in S/4HANA migrations or upgrades.
• Knowledge of international accounting standards and compliance requirements.
• Experience with reporting tools (e.g., SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud).
