GEODIS has launched a strategic program (FIT) to replace its existing heterogeneous solutions with a Finance and S2P core model based on S/4HANA Cloud private edition and Coupa solutions for the entire Group. This core model will cover the Record to Report (R2R), Controlling, Order to Cash (O2C) and Source to Pay (S2P) processes, and will interface with the GEODIS Group's operational tools.

This multi-year project involves the creation of a core model and the preparation of a pilot in 2024, followed by roll‑out in waves from 2025 onwards. Starting pilot deployment, the Run organization will be activated.

Mission

Join GEODIS as SAP Application Owner IT to ensure an efficient and scalable run mode. In this key role, you will lead and deliver SAP IT‑related projects and perfective maintenance.

Reporting to the Finance Treasury & Procurement Application Manager, your responsibilities include managing and optimizing the design and configuration of SAP S4/Hana and related tools, ensuring alignment with business needs, and maintaining data and security integrity.

What we are expecting from you

  • Set up a project portfolio and prioritize business requirements and projects following Product Owner road map
  • Propose prioritization of change requirements, assess risk/benefit/cost
  • Oversee the management of SAP services to ensure their smooth operation
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to ensure optimal service delivery
  • Guarantee operational monitoring of application maintenance activities ensuring compliance with deliverables and outputs
  • Guarantee SAP releases implementation to ensure alignment and integration with GEODIS core model
  • Propose innovation initiatives, automation, optimization, and simplification of SAP processes
  • Produce regular reports and implement processes to improve SAP performance
  • Ensure service compliance and security with organizational standards and policies
  • Propose and support Budget preparation and optimize costs
  • Monitor and ensure the entire lifecycle of contracts (editor and integrator)
  • Conduct audits in your domain and implement action plans to address warnings
  • Ensure compliance in architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity assessments, processes, and governance rules
  • Support team members on SAP best practices
  • Work closely with the IT Finance Support Team to ensure efficient communication and knowledge transfer and engage with the key users' community
  • Be accountable for support activities and priorities which are managed by Support Team

Qualifications

Master's Degree (BAC+5) in technology or engineering with minimum 5-10 years' experience in SAP FI, CO, MM and AA maintenance, in an international context with excellent expertise of the FI-GL, FI-AR, FI-AP and IM modules

  • Proven experience of integration with SaaS solutions in an SAP context
  • Proven team management (resources and TMA) and budget management
  • Participation in SAP deployment projects would be an appreciated added value
  • Good knowledge of Finance domain
  • Good experience in IT Project Management
  • Master Agile, PMP or Prince method (certifications are a plus)
  • Experience with ticketing tools (Jira and HelpNow)
  • Good synthesis skills
  • Good communications skills, written and verbal
  • Rigor, autonomy, service-oriented mindset, and team spirit
