Controlling Group Business Process Owner H/F
Overview
GEODIS has launched in November 2023 its FIT project (FInance Transformation, Finance & IT)) in order to implement its Finance Core Model processes in a robust blend of solutions (S4 HANA and Coupa) that will be progressively deployed on a worldwide scope of entities (~52 countries) over the next few years. Core Model design is coordinated centrally by a team of Group Business Process Owners (GBPOs) under the responsibility of the Business Transformation lead. GBPOs cover all Procurement & Finance processes: Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Source-to-Pay (S2P, Coupa scope), Record-to-Pay (R2P), Treasury (TRY) and Controlling (CTR). Controlling process is a critical process for the Company. Indeed, GEODIS has recently finalized the roll out of its Performance Management Blueprint with, as enabler, the ORACLE Cloud EPM solution. All business controllers over the Company adopted the same controlling principles. This standardization to a single language has been enabled through an MDM Finance solution and a Data Lake set up in the same time than the EPM solution. With FIT project, GEODIS aims at standardizing their operational Finance business process in a single ERP.
Project status in a nutshell:
- Core Model Process finalized (initial version) end of 2024
- Pilot implementation in 2025 and Go-live in October 2025
