Sales Leader for Digital Grid – DACH
Overview
In this role, you will position Schneider Electric as a leading partner for the digitalization of utilities across the DACH region. You will be responsible for driving order intake growth for EcoStruxure Grid Solutions and advancing the Digital Grid business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. You will work closely with regional segment leaders, local sales teams, partners and internal stakeholders to build a sustainable opportunity pipeline and unlock new market potential with existing and new customers. You will combine strong strategic sales acumen with a solid understanding of digital grid solutions, regulatory frameworks and partnership-based business models to establish EcoStruxure Grid solutions in the market.
Responsibilities
- Own the development, management, and closing of a strong sales pipeline in the software market with utility customers (DSOs/TSOs) across the DACH region.
- Drive demand creation through executive-level pitching, business case development, and executive workshops; act as Opportunity Leader for strategic key accounts and complex software deals.
- Collaborate closely with country sales teams, business units, solution architects, and marketing; coach internal stakeholders on selling Digital Grid solutions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Long-term sales experience within the utilities industry (DSOs, TSOs) and mid-term experience as Sales Opportunity Leader for complex software or digital transformation projects.
- Deep understanding of utility business models and market dynamics; proven track record in C-level selling and value-based sales approaches.
- Experience with EcoStruxure solutions (e.g., ADMS, GIS, AMI/MDM) is a strong plus.
- Strategic mindset, structured working style, and strong closing skills.
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
