As part of our Sales Team, the Account Executive is at the forefront of our commercial growth — owning the full sales cycle and bringing in the enterprise clients who will shape our next chapter.

You will report to the Head of Sales, Matteo Greco.

  • Hit individual and team annual ARR quotas
  • Win and grow Large Enterprise accounts in FMCG and Food Service, with a view to expanding into adjacent markets
  • Maintain 100% CRM hygiene across all opportunities
  • Market expansion across EU and globally
  • Identify and prospect potential clients through outbound channels (cold outreach, networking, events) and convert them into long-term relationships
  • Understand client needs and challenges deeply, and present Carbon Maps' solutions in a way that clearly demonstrates value
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes, and meet or exceed quarterly and annual ARR targets
  • Collaborate cross-functionally — with sales, marketing, and implementation teams — to ensure seamless onboarding and aligned go-to-market strategies
  • Build and champion new value propositions internally, staying sharp on industry trends, the competitive landscape, and product updates
  • Support client retention and growth by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities with existing accounts
  • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and provide regular updates on sales activities and performance
  • 3–5+ years of experience in a similar AE or B2B sales role, with a proven track record of hitting and exceeding targets
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers at all levels
  • Fluent in English; fluency in French and additional languages are a plus
  • Comfortable with CRM tools, sales automation, and a technical, complex product — with the curiosity to stay on top of industry and tech trends
  • Appetite for medium/large accounts and a fast-paced, collaborative environment — able to work cross-functionally until signature (RFP, project, tech teams)
  • Analytical and proactive mindset, with a results-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Experience in sustainability and/or the FMCG industry is a strong plus
