Sales Engineer, Capital Equipment

Responsibilities

• Developing business both in person and remotely with new customers, ensuring cross‑selling, customer retention, and growth of existing accounts.
• Analyzing customer needs to propose tailored products, services, and solutions.
• Conducting sales presentations and demonstrations.
• Developing medium‑ and long‑term action plans to expand and diversify business relationships.
• Meeting quantitative and qualitative targets within the scope (industries: petrochemicals, shipbuilding, foundry, metallurgy, and, temporarily, automotive maintenance).
• Prospecting all potential markets, promoting CP’s high‑value‑added products and solutions.
• Managing and developing the distribution network.
• Ensuring flow of strategic information to anticipate market trends and directions.

Qualifications

• Commercial or technical education and minimum 2 years professional experience in technical sales.
• Customer and result focus with excellent communication skills (networking, prospecting, listening, guiding, negotiating and closing the deal).
• Fluency in French and at least B2 level of English.
• Confidence in MS Office applications and, ideally, experience with a CRM (Salesforce) system.
• Flexibility, enjoying working in field and traveling within your assigned area.
• Valid driver's licence, willingness to learn and openness to new challenges.
• Ability to use AI to create value and improve daily work efficiency.

Job Location

Fully remote, eligible to work from anywhere within the northern, Île‑de‑France, and Centre regions (departments: 02, 18, 27, 28, 45, 58, 59, 60, 62, 75, 76, 77, 78, 80, 89, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95).
