Sales Director, Strategic Accounts FSI

This pivotal role expands Genesys’ footprint and establishes the company as a trusted partner for end‑to‑end CX transformation across our most critical enterprise accounts in France.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and grow strategic enterprise accounts in the CCaaS and AI‑driven CX space.
  • Build multi‑year partnerships with key clients, influencing CX transformation agendas.
  • Lead and inspire a team of Strategic Account Managers to achieve exceptional performance.

Strategic Leadership & Growth

  • Define and execute a market‑leading regional strategy aligned with Genesys’ growth ambitions.
  • Expand and deepen relationships within strategic enterprise accounts while driving new business opportunities.
  • Establish Genesys as the go‑to partner for CX transformation, CCaaS, and AI‑driven experiences.
  • Build strong C‑level and executive relationships across customers and partners.
  • Drive long‑term, multi‑year transformational initiatives and partnership programs.

Business Execution & Operational Excellence

  • Ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility across strategic accounts.
  • Apply disciplined sales methodologies (MEDDPICC) to complex enterprise deals.
  • Lead weekly pipeline reviews, risk identification, and action plans to accelerate revenue.
  • Deliver clear insights and reporting to senior leadership.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor a high‑performing team of Strategic Account Managers.
  • Foster a culture of coaching, accountability, and measurable performance.
  • Support the team in complex deals, executive negotiations, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Implement structured career development plans and skills development programs.

Field Engagement & Deal Support

  • Act as a player‑coach by engaging directly in high‑impact client meetings and strategic opportunities.
  • Lead deal strategy, negotiation, and execution with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure a consistent, unified “One Genesys” approach across all accounts.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Marketing, Solutions Consulting, Customer Success, and Channel teams to drive account‑based strategies.
  • Leverage the partner ecosystem to accelerate growth and adoption.
  • Promote cross‑regional collaboration and knowledge sharing across business units.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in enterprise sales leadership, ideally in SaaS, AI, or CX technologies.
  • Strong experience managing strategic or global accounts and complex deal cycles.
  • Expertise in forecasting, pipeline management, and executing MEDDPICC rigorously.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, scale, and coach high‑performing teams.
  • Excellent executive presence, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in French and English, with a deep understanding of the French enterprise market.
