Job Description Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to coordinate, support and eventually lead, in some case, the deployment of robotic systems in our manufacturing facilities. This role is critical in identifying, evaluating, and implementing robotization opportunities aligned with our strategic growth and capacity expansion objectives, particularly in low-volume, high-mix production environments. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to build strong business cases, support to deploy end-to-end project execution, and to ensure timely delivery of robotic solutions that improve capacity, productivity and quality with potential scalability.

Job Description

• Project Management & Execution Coordinate or lead the planning, execution, and delivery of robotic deployment projects from concept to commissioning with the factory team and the integrator. Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budgets in alignment with stakeholders. Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations, maintenance, safety) and external vendors/integrators. Manage project risks, change controls, and resource constraints to ensure successful deployment.
• Business Case Development Analyze manufacturing processes to identify automation/robotization opportunities. Define ROI, payback period, and performance KPIs for proposed robotic investments. Prepare and present detailed business cases to Business Line leadership and robotics & automation council to support capital investment decisions.
• Technical Support & Oversight Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to validate technical feasibility and integration of robotic systems. Oversee system acceptance testing (FAT, SAT) and post-installation performance validation. Ensure solutions comply with safety standards, industry regulations, and internal quality requirements.
• Continuous Improvement & Strategy Support the development of roadmaps for future robotic initiatives in the factories and the scalability of some running projects. Monitor emerging technologies and recommend enhancements for long-term competitiveness. Support internal capability building and knowledge transfer across sites.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics) or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
• Experience: Implementation of robotics, automation, or manufacturing project management. Proven track record of delivering robotic/automation projects in factory environments, especially in low-volume, high-mix production settings.
• Location(s): Open to France, Europe, Americas, Asia.
• Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Specific knowledge: Competent in project management tools; strong understanding of robotic systems (collaborative robots, industrial arms, AGVs, sensors, actuators); deep knowledge of manufacturing systems, lean principles, digital transformation tools; SAP, IoT knowledge is a plus.
• Other: Leadership, communication, stakeholder management; ability to influence and drive change; work autonomously in a cross-functional environment; strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills; team player; results oriented; autonomous; availability for international travel.

Votre profil

• Formation: Diplôme d’ingénieur (mécanique, électricité, automatisme, mécatronique) ou domaine équivalent. Master ou MBA constitue un atout.
• Expérience: Mise en œuvre de solutions robotiques, l’automatisation ou la gestion de projets industriels. Livraison confirmée de projets robotiques/automatisation en environnement de production, pratique des environnements à faible volume et forte mixité, augmentation de capacité par l’automatisation.
• Localisation: Poste ouvert en France, Europe, Americas, Asia.
• Langues: Anglais courant (écrit et oral).
• Compétences clé: Maîtrise des outils et méthodes de gestion de projets. Connaissances approfondies en systèmes robotiques. Bonne compréhension des environnements de production et des principes Lean. Expérience avec SAP et/ou IoT est un plus.
• Leadership reconnu, communication claire, capacité à fédérer équipes pluridisciplinaires. Autonomie, sens de l’analyse, orientation résultats. Disponibilité pour déplacements internationaux.
