About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Riser Engineer to join an international engineering team involved in the design and execution of complex offshore energy developments.

Working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, you will be responsible for the design, analysis and technical follow-up of subsea riser systems throughout the FEED, detailed engineering and execution phases. You will play a key role in ensuring technical compliance, supplier coordination and successful project delivery.

Your Responsibilities

As Riser Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Perform and validate global dynamic analyses under various environmental and operational conditions.
• Develop Basis of Design documentation.
• Prepare technical specifications for subsea equipment.
• Develop installation procedures and engineering documentation.
• Participate in the technical evaluation of supplier proposals.
• Interface with procurement and suppliers throughout project execution.
• Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (API, DNV, ISO).
• Monitor supplier engineering, manufacturing and qualification activities.
• Participate in factory acceptance activities and supplier follow-up when required.
• Coordinate interfaces with other subsea engineering disciplines.
• Support multidisciplinary project execution from engineering through procurement.

Required Profile

We are looking for an engineer with proven experience in offshore riser engineering and a strong technical background in subsea systems.

You have:

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Offshore or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Significant experience in offshore riser engineering.
• Strong understanding of dynamic riser behaviour.
• Experience in subsea system design.
• Knowledge of offshore installation methodologies.
• Experience working with suppliers and procurement teams.
• Excellent technical writing and reporting skills.
• Professional English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary international teams.
