Overview
Facilities & Construction Project Lead
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Together with the Construction & Facilities team, you will support the overall coordination of construction and maintenance projects across the France, Belgium, and Luxembourg markets for all H&M Group brands.
- You will oversee the operational alignment of ongoing projects, ensuring consistency, clarity, and quality in execution, while supporting those who manage the projects on a daily basis.
- You will work with the team to plan, budget, and follow up on construction and maintenance projects, ensuring quality, cost control, timelines, safety, sustainability, and smooth collaboration with external partners.
- You will contribute to the selection of reliable partners and the securing of contracts, ensuring risk management, timeline compliance, and adherence to contractual conditions.
- You will drive planning optimization and continuous improvement, sharing best practices and supporting the Construction & Facilities team in enhancing ways of working.
- You will monitor tenders, contracts, budgets, and costs to ensure financial transparency.
- You will secure data accuracy in systems for precise follow-up and future benchmarking.
- You will follow up on required actions to ensure compliance and proper risk assessment.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
Within the team, you will support the Construction & Facilities Manager through clear communication and strong operational coordination. You will work closely with the Expansion team and other key stakeholders to ensure good alignment on all construction and maintenance activities.
You will be a central point of contact ensuring that information, priorities, and workflows are fully aligned. You will report into the Construction & Facilities Manager for France, Belgium, and Luxembourg and be the first point of contact in their absence.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with...
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Facility Management and Construction. Experience in the retail sector would be considered a plus.
- Experience in team management, either formally or informally.
- Strong capability to manage and oversee multiple construction and maintenance projects, coordinating both internal stakeholders and external providers.
- A solid understanding of the construction environment, with the ability to identify risks and opportunities in the Retail environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
- Fluency in English (C1 level required) and bilingual proficiency in French.

The position is based in Paris and requires occasional travel in France, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
