What you’ll do
- Oversee the preparation and maintenance of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing insights to management.
- Coordinate the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to gather necessary data and projections.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including VAT and corporate tax returns, while staying updated on relevant tax legislation.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and liaise with external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
- Provide support in payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in employee compensation and compliance with labor laws.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline administrative processes and improve overall organizational effectiveness.
- Prepare regular financial reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial health metrics.
- Participate in strategic planning initiatives, contributing financial insights to support decision-making and long-term growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of French accounting standards and regulations, as well as international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience in managing audits and working with external auditors is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and labor regulations in France is an advantage.
Nice to have
- Experience in the cybersecurity or technology sector, providing insight into industry-specific financial practices.
- Knowledge of additional languages, particularly English, to facilitate communication in an international environment.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies to support cross-departmental initiatives.
- Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and financial management software.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements in France.
