Resident Quality Engineer (m/f/d) - Sandouville, France

We are currently recruiting a Resident Quality Engineer for a potential client located in Sandouville, France.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer complaints from receipt through to resolution;
• Analyze and identify product defects;
• Assess non-conforming products directly at the customer’s facilities;
• Implement and manage activities and specifications defined in work instructions;
• Develop and manage communication between the end customer and the represented company;
• Negotiate and discuss complaints with the customer;
• Support other company customers when necessary;
• Implement and monitor containment actions according to reported issues;
• Analyze claimed products, confirm failure modes, and initiate root cause analysis in accordance with specifications and technical drawings;
• Participate in follow-up and close-up meetings related to complaints;
• Coordinate the safe launch with the customer for new projects;
• Promote the use of continuous improvement techniques such as Six Sigma, Poka-Yoke, and MSA;
• Submit claimed samples to Project Management and the customer for analysis and awareness;
• Implement boundary samples and other tools to define acceptance criteria.

Requirements

• Minimum education level: Technical Course;
• Advanced technical English;
• Fluent French;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Computer proficiency and general knowledge of electronics;
• Critical thinking and proactive attitude;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Competitive mindset and business development capability.

Professional Experience

• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in the automotive sector;
• Experience in quality management, product analysis, and complaint handling.
