California Home Company, Inc. is a Sacramento-based residential design-build firm specializing in modern single-family and duplex homes throughout California. Due to increased project volume, we are seeking a motivated Architectural Designer with strong Revit experience to join our remote team.

What You’ll Do

• Produce architectural drawings in Revit from concept through permit
• Work on single-family and duplex residential projects
• Create site plans, floor plans, elevations, and construction documents
• Assist with permit submittals and plan check responses
• Coordinate drawings with senior architects and consultants
• Implement redlines, revisions, and documentation updates

Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional Revit experience (required)
• Minimum 3 completed architectural projects (portfolio required)
• Ability to read and write in English
• Experience producing permit-level residential drawings
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Willingness to learn U.S. residential codes (training provided)

Software

• Revit (required)
• AutoCAD (some experience)
• Adobe tools for markups only
• No rendering software required

Compensation & Growth

• USD $800–$1,200 per month, based on experience
• Paid overtime as needed basis
• Raises and promotions as skills progress
