About the Role
The role involves leading BYD truck sales activities across the France, Germany, and Nordic markets, developing strategies to align with BYD’s growth objectives in the European commercial vehicle sector.
Responsibilities
- Lead BYD truck sales activities across the France/Germany/Nordic markets (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland).
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with BYD’s European commercial vehicle growth objectives.
- Identify and secure key business opportunities with major fleet operators, logistics companies, and public sector customers.
- Build, manage, and optimize the BYD dealer and service partner network in the region.
- Support dealers with sales planning, training, product positioning, and customer acquisition.
- Manage strategic customer relationships and negotiate high-value fleet contracts.
- Coordinate tender processes, framework agreements, and partnerships with large operators.
- Represent BYD Trucks in customer meetings, industry events, and stakeholder discussions.
- Drive BYD’s market entry and brand establishment in the Nordic region.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market intelligence to support pricing and product strategy.
- Work closely with marketing teams to develop regional campaigns and launch activities.
- Collaborate with European HQ teams across product, service, finance, and operations.
- Ensure smooth project execution from order intake through delivery and customer onboarding.
- Provide feedback to product teams based on market requirements and customer needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in commercial vehicle sales, ideally in trucks.
- Strong knowledge of the Nordic transport and logistics market.
- Proven track record in dealer management, fleet sales, and market development.
- Experience with electric vehicles, sustainability, or alternative drivetrains is a strong advantage.

- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic plans.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration.
- Familiarity with marketing strategies and campaign development.
