Regional Sales Manager
Location: France, Remote (Northern France Preferred)

A global leader in advanced water treatment technologies is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth in the municipal water sector across France.
This role offers the opportunity to work with innovative treatment technologies that play a critical role in ensuring safe and sustainable water supplies. The successful candidate will combine technical sales expertise with strategic market development, working closely with municipalities, engineering partners, and channel partners to expand adoption of advanced water treatment solutions.
This is a remote position with significant field engagement, suited to a commercially driven professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering value-driven solutions to customers.
The Opportunity
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a regional growth strategy within the municipal water market.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing regional sales plans to achieve revenue targets
- Building strong relationships with municipal clients, engineering consultants, and channel partners
- Promoting advanced treatment technologies within drinking water and wastewater applications
- Managing and growing a robust sales pipeline through proactive customer engagement and value-based selling
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
- Supporting commercial proposals, tenders, and contract negotiations
- Participating in industry events, site visits, demonstrations, and partner engagement activities
- Maintaining accurate pipeline and activity reporting through CRM systems
- Gathering market feedback and customer insights to support product and commercial strategy
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a commercially driven professional with strong technical credibility within the water sector.
Key requirements:
- Proven experience in technical B2B sales, ideally within water, wastewater, or environmental technologies
- Experience selling into municipal utilities, engineering consultants, or infrastructure projects
- Ability to manage long sales cycles and complex stakeholder environments
- Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills
- High level of autonomy and strong commercial judgement
- Degree in engineering, environmental science, chemistry, biology, or related discipline
- Previous experience positioning and selling water/wastewater treatment technologies and solutions.
Location & Language
- Based in France
- Fluent in French & English required
- Willingness to travel up to 60% across the region
