Regional Marketing Manager, Southern Europe

What is the role?
The Regional Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and driving Aerogen brand awareness strategy and generating leads that lead to broad adoption and utilisation of Aerogen technology within Southern Europe Cluster. This individual will report to the Associate Marketing & Clinical Education Director, with a dotted line to the Head of Southern Europe & MEA and work in partnership with sales leadership, global marketing, medical affairs, global cross‑functional partners and third‑party vendors.
Key responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy: Create an annual marketing plan that drives Aerogen toward standard of care with sustained double‑digit revenue growth, while maintaining margins and delivering increased market share.
- Customer Communications: Develop an ongoing customer communication program using social media, advertising, email, and other media outlets to encourage better utilisation of Aerogen. Manage downstream campaign roll‑out across the region and track ROI.
- Product / Solutions launch: Partner with Commercial Leadership to develop and execute best‑in‑class launches to drive maximum market penetration. Own downstream launch strategy in the region for new product launches.
- Conference and Events Calendar: Develop and implement an events calendar with key audience and attendee information, key messaging, and an ROI calculator. Integrate an omnichannel marketing plan to support the annual calendar.
- Distributor marketing strategy: Work with the commercial team to onboard distributors in accordance with Aerogen best practice and educate them on corporate branding, expectations, marketing materials, and sales excellence. Ensure regular communication on in‑market activities and marketing updates.
- National Customer Facing Events: Coordinate participation in events, event displays, and all promotion and lead generation activities. Work with 3rd‑party vendors for innovative stand solutions within budget to make market impact. Report on key event measurables, success, and surveys; post‑market follow‑up and track ROI.
- Budget: Own and manage all spend in line with budget, keep within process for approvals, and provide monthly reporting on budget and forecasting.
- Public Relations: Develop ideas for contributed articles and regular press releases about Aerogen and ensure these activities are factored into the broader market awareness strategy.
- KOL Strategy Support: Integrate KOL strategy with broader marketing and communications plans and showcase customer engagement activities and outputs.
- Peer to Peer Education: Own Peer to Peer Education within the market; conduct symposiums, workshops, webinars with Medical Affairs and commercial teams, gain accreditation for key activities, and launch AeroxED, Aerogen’s Education portal, with clear measurable outcomes.
- Society engagement: Work with key societies and medical affairs to build education programs, support events, and build rapport to influence guidelines.
- Corporate communications: Ensure Aerogen’s corporate brand guidelines are followed within the region at all times, train distributors on the use of Aerogen logo and representation of the product and brand.
Education and experience required
- Proven experience in healthcare industry marketing.
- Experience creating and executing strategic work plans to achieve specific goals.
- Experience owning budgets, building and executing strategic marketing, and demonstrating ROI.
Preferences
- Bachelor’s Degree (any subject) and post‑graduate qualification in Business or Marketing or equivalent job experience, ideally with prior commercial experience.
- Experience in medical device, respiratory therapeutic area, and acute care hospital setting.
- Experience working with a range of internal stakeholders locally and globally, including sales, marketing, operations, analytics, and more.

- Ability to stay organised, operate independently with high quality and high detail orientation.
- Strong proficiency in English, French, Spanish and any additional cluster language desirable.
- Must be based in the region with ability to travel at least 40% of the time.
