Radar System Engineer

Autonomous platforms | Real-world testing | Advanced detection

We’re supporting an engineering team working on advanced sensing systems for autonomous and uncrewed platforms , with projects moving quickly from prototype to field trials.

This role is ideal for someone who’s spent time around UAVs, drone payloads, or mission systems , and enjoys hands-on integration, testing, and problem-solving outside the lab.

You’ll be part of a small, technically driven team building systems that are designed to operate in complex, unpredictable environments .

What you’ll get involved in

• Integrating sensing and tracking technologies onto UAV and mobile platforms
• Supporting system bring-up, integration, and field testing
• Working with real-time data streams and multi-sensor inputs
• Improving detection, tracking, and system performance in challenging conditions
• Collaborating closely with hardware, software, and autonomy teams

What tends to work well

• Experience with UAV / UAS platforms or autonomous vehicles
• Systems, avionics, sensing, or embedded engineering background
• Comfortable with integration, test, and deployment activities
• Curious, practical mindset — you like seeing systems operate for real
• Exposure to defence, aerospace, robotics, or high-reliability environments

Europe-based role with regular hands-on testing
