R&T Project Manager

• Lead projects for the development of new mechanical products
• Define development strategies and technology maturation plans
• Build and monitor project roadmaps through achievement of the various validation milestones
• Plan and coordinate the various technical activities
• Organize and lead project meetings and ensure follow-up of action items
• Act as the technical focal point for various internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to the definition of concepts and technical solutions
• Draft technical specifications and statements of work
• Lead prototype development
• Define testing and inspection requirements
• Prepare, organize, and supervise test campaigns internally and at partner facilities
• Analyze test results and contribute to resolving technical issues
• Participate in technical reviews and present project progress and results to the various stakeholders
• Contribute to the validation of technical documents and developed solutions
• Establish and monitor project budgets
• Ensure compliance with cost, quality, schedule, and performance objectives
• Identify risks and implement associated action plans
• Provide project progress reporting and communication
• Contribute to technology monitoring and the identification of new solutions

Requirements

• Technical project management and leadership
• Strong understanding of mechanical design challenges
• Ability to define and monitor a validation strategy
• Proficiency in drafting technical specifications and statements of work
• Experience leading test campaigns
• Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues
• Coordination of multidisciplinary teams
• Partner and supplier management
• Proficiency in budget tracking and planning
• Proficiency with CAD software, ideally Creo
• Minimum bachelor's degree equivalent to five years of higher education; ideally a graduate of an engineering school or a university program with a strong focus on mechanical engineering
• Significant experience in the industrial sector
• At least 3 years of experience in product development, R&T, innovation, or technical project management
• Eligible to obtain Secret Defense security clearance
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
