Technical Lead

• Lead mechanical and thermomechanical analysis activities related to the development of new architectures for civil and military aircraft engines.
• Provide technical supervision to a team of 3 to 5 analysis engineers.
• Manage fixed-price projects while meeting quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for clients and lead project reviews.
• Review and validate numerical models, analyses, and calculation reports.
• Perform static, vibration, and thermomechanical mechanical analyses.
• Analyze complex technical issues and propose appropriate solutions.
• Deploy and improve analysis methodologies within the engineering department.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and the development of team capabilities.
• Contribute to the analysis of projects eligible for the Research Tax Credit.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in General Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical analysis and 2 years of experience managing fixed-price engineering projects.
• Proficiency in Ansys Workbench Mechanical.
• Knowledge of linear and nonlinear finite element analysis, including static and modal analyses.
• Expertise in materials fatigue analysis (LCF/HCF).
• Proficiency in a 3D modeling tool: CATIA, Creo, Design Modeler, or SpaceClaim.
• Knowledge of Python or VBA programming.
• Professional proficiency in English and French.
• Demonstrated leadership, attention to detail, analytical skills, and interpersonal abilities.
• The successful candidate must meet the clearance and access authorization requirements for government-controlled sites involving national defense classified information.
