Quantity Surveyor – STEGRA Project – Civil Engineering – CDI F/H

About the Project

The Marine & Overseas Division is developing the STEGRA project in Boden, Sweden, a green steelworks and electrolysis plant powered by renewable electricity and water from the Lule River. The plant will produce 5million tonnes of green steel per year by 2030. You will join the Water Treatment Plant 2 team, working closely with subcontractors, site production teams and the Contract Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Measure, verify and track project quantities, including key volumes (e.g., concrete m³, materials, labour).
  • Monitor subcontractor quantities and prepare quantity statements for progress validation and payments.
  • Analyse subcontractor contracts and support the Contract Manager on quantity‑related topics.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed Excel trackers, dashboards and quantity follow‑up tools.
  • Collect, consolidate and verify data from site teams and suppliers.
  • Support commercial and contractual discussions with subcontractors regarding quantities, changes or adjustments.
  • Contribute to forecasting and quantity‑based cost evaluations.
  • Work closely with construction teams to ensure accurate quantity assessments.

Required Profile

  • Background in construction / civil engineering (BTP).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a quantity surveyor, methods, cost control, or contract follow‑up.
  • Comfortable with numerical analysis and manual/field‑oriented tasks.
  • Excellent command of Excel and the ability to deep‑dive into figures and challenge data.
  • Fluent in English; French is an asset.
  • Experience in an international project environment appreciated.
  • Local Swedish candidates and internal mobility profiles welcome.
