Position Summary

Hex Trust is hiring a Quantitative Trader specializing in proprietary trading strategies and trading infrastructure. The role requires navigating the complexities of crypto markets, managing trading with precision, and contributing to the firm's trading objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Execute client trades, optimizing for best execution while mitigating market impact and maintaining discretion.
• Develop and implement quantitative strategies that align with client trading goals and market opportunities.
• Analyze market trends and liquidity to inform both proprietary and client‑focused trading decisions.
• Continuously assess and manage trading risks in real‑time for both the firm and clients.
• Create algorithmic trading tools to automate and improve trade execution processes.
• Use statistical analysis to improve trading models and provide market insights to clients.
• Ensure all trading practices adhere to regulatory standards and internal compliance policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field with a solid foundation in trading algorithms.
• Proven track record in quantitative trading and client execution within crypto or similar financial markets.
• Expertise in low‑level programming languages (C++, Rust) and familiarity with blockchain technology.
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to communicate complex concepts to a diverse audience.
• Exceptional risk management and problem‑solving abilities.
