Ferrovial is a global leader in infrastructure, operating in more than 15 countries. We are looking for a Site Quality Engineer for our Iter Team to support quality management.

Job Description

Assist the Quality Manager and Project Team in fulfilling client requirements and following established quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Primary on-site point of contact for all quality control/assurance aspects.
• Assure conformity of activities with applicable requirements.
• Assist in implementation of procedures and quality plans.
• Manage and follow up non-conformities, remedial actions, and associated corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure closure of non-conformities on time.
• Assure compliance of the quality procedures by subcontractors.
• Keep quality documents organized and up to date.
• Conduct on-site quality inspections.
• Visit factories to check compliance of off-site manufactured products and report in a timely manner.
• Review inspection reports for manufacturing/installation and support subcontractors during the issuing process with the Quality Manager.
• Review and update quality documents according to project needs.
• Manage measuring and test equipment, including calibration/verification, certificates, and status.
• Support the management of nuclear safety requirements.
• Monitor the progress of corrective actions (NCRs) and ensure they are closed promptly and correctly.
• Perform defect list management: snags identification and follow‑up.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
• Participate in tender offers.

Qualifications

• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background.
• Experience in site quality inspection.
• Knowledge of ISO14001 and ISO9001 management systems and their implementation.
