USPHS Inspection Supervisor, Catering Systems Division
Location: Saint‑Nazaire, FranceEmployment type: 1 year contract
As a USPHS Inspection Supervisor , you will ensure that all galley and cold‑store installations onboard meet the strict USPHS, HSE, and contractual standards required across our shipbuilding projects. You will serve as a key link between subcontractors, the Site Manager, the yard, and clients—driving compliance, safety, and quality in all inspected areas.
General Responsibilities
Ensure all work complies with the ALMACO Quality Management Manual, HSE/PHS rules, and relevant codes, standards, and specifications.
Record non‑conformances and collaborate with the Site Manager on corrective actions.
Ensure use of only current drawings and approved documents.
Ensure adherence to yard safety procedures for subcontractors and ALMACO personnel onboard.
Verify that contractor work meets both contractual and sanitary requirements.
Inspection & Coordination Responsibilities
Perform daily and weekly USPHS/HSE inspections per schedule, reporting results to the Site Manager.
Communicate inspection schedules to subcontractors and ensure proper execution.
Participate in coordination meetings with project management, the yard, and the client.
Handle and document actions related to resolving non‑conformances detected during handover and ensure prevention of repeat issues.
Report HSE accidents and incidents to GC/PM.
Education & Competence Requirements
Excellent knowledge of galley and cold‑store installation .
Strong command of English (spoken, written, read).
Good understanding of HSE regulations and shipbuilding standards .
Proficiency with Outlook and Excel .
