About the Role

As a Mid-Level QA Engineer on a six-month contract, you will ensure the quality and reliability of complex web applications. You will take ownership of designing and executing comprehensive test strategies within an Agile environment. Your impact will be felt through the seamless delivery of high-stakes product releases, ensuring backend and frontend systems meet rigorous standards. Working alongside developers and data scientists, you will mitigate risks and champion quality throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure high-performance outcomes for a global user base.

What You'll Do

• Analyze business and technical requirements to develop pragmatic test strategies for complex web products.
• Design and execute comprehensive UI, backend, and API tests across multi-layered application architectures.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives to advocate for quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and data scientists, to identify and resolve technical risks.
• Monitor system logs and performance metrics to identify potential bottlenecks or failures during release cycles.
• Ensure the successful deployment of product updates through rigorous end-to-end testing and validation.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of hands-on Quality Assurance experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven expertise testing complex UI web applications and backend system architectures.
• Strong technical proficiency in API testing.
• ISTQB Foundation Certification.
• Located in France.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with testing tools such as Postman, Bruno, or TestRail.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Elasticsearch or Datadog.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and data tools including SQL, Azure Data Factory, or Databricks.
• Background working with Jira for project management.
