QA Consultant (Freelance)

Our client, a leading food production company, is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Consultant to support and enhance quality assurance and food safety systems at one of its manufacturing sites in the Reims region.

This role is focused on maintaining certification standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement across QA, sanitation, and food safety processes. The successful candidate will work closely with site teams, providing practical, hands‑on support to strengthen quality systems and ensure audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, review, and improve quality assurance systems, procedures, and documentation.
• Support site preparation for key certifications and audits, including ERC, AIB, and GFSI.
• Identify compliance gaps and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene.
• Collaborate with operational teams to promote best practices and strengthen quality culture.
• Provide hands‑on support during internal and external audits.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in a Quality Assurance role within the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and certification schemes, particularly ERC, AIB, and GFSI.
• Fluent in French, with the ability to work onsite in the Reims region.
• Practical, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
