Become a part of our friendly team at our location in Paris as a Public Affairs Manager (Maternity Leave Cover – 1-Year Fixed-Term Contract) (all genders).
Your future tasks:
- Policy Monitoring & Intelligence: Monitor political, regulatory and legislative developments at EU and national level relevant to offshore wind and the broader energy transition.
- Support the development and execution of public affairs strategies: Develop and implement public affairs strategies aligned with Skyborn's business objectives.
- Support the preparation of position papers: Lead the preparation of position papers, consultation responses and executive briefings.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen visibility: Drive Skyborn's external positioning and advocacy across key European markets.
- Work closely with the Communications team: Partner with the Communications team to align policy advocacy with external communications and thought leadership.
Your profile:
- University degree in Political Science, European Studies, Public Policy, Law, Economics, International Relations or another relevant discipline.
- At least 4 years professional experience in public affairs, government relations, public policy, political advisory, an industry association or a comparable role.
- Strong understanding of EU institutions, European policymaking and energy policy, ideally with experience in the renewable energy sector.
- Demonstrated experience engaging with policymakers, public authorities and industry stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex political and regulatory developments into practical business insights.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to represent the company externally.
- Self-motivated, well-organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic international environment.
- A collaborative team player who enjoys working across functions and cultures.
