Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of generating proposals based on customer-defined requirements, including general trading terms and conditions.
  • Prepare and submit bids and sales proposals, obtaining the required approvals.
  • Consult with other departments on pricing, product specifications, warranties, and product suitability to ensure delivery of the right technical and commercial solution for the customer.
  • Manage cost estimates with project team members, product specialists, sales, and multiple suppliers.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial proposal preparation
  • Work with internal customers
  • Manage communications by email and remote meetings
  • Participate in technical and commercial meetings
  • Verify orders against proposals
  • Contribute to defining customer requirements
  • Experience working in high-pressure environments while remaining focused on goals and able to prioritize daily tasks
  • Proficiency in cost calculations and preparing commercial proposal content
  • Commercial acumen to support sales in delivering proposed services
  • Fluency in French and English (spoken and written).
