Design Office Engineer

The service will be carried out autonomously, under the responsibility of the Project Manager, and in close interface with other disciplines (structural analysis, installation, methods, procurement, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Perform concept and detailed design studies for structural components in Oil & Gas subsea projects.
• Produce and update 3D models, general arrangement drawings, and fabrication drawings.
• Participate in internal and client design reviews.
• Interface with structural analysis, installation methods, and construction teams to ensure technical consistency.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and standards.
• Provide technical support to the project team throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to the optimization of technical solutions in terms of cost, schedule, and constructability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas structural engineering, preferably on deepwater subsea projects.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of installation methods (offshore / subsea) is considered a plus.
• Proficiency in Inventor and Vault, or equivalent software (e.g., SolidWorks + Vault).
• Good professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in offshore / subsea project environments is highly appreciated.
