Project Manager – Optics, Electronics & Embedded AI

To meet this challenge, Bertin Technologies is expanding its machine park and strengthening its teams within the Bertin Photonics Division. So join us and become our new Project Manager .
You will interface with customers in the scientific, earth observation, high-energy or nuclear fusion fields. You will need to understand the customer's needs and enable Bertin Technologies to serve them to the best of its ability with quality products/systems delivered on time.
Circulating information, ensuring that it is taken into account, taking a step back to analyze risks and implement corrective actions will be your daily routine.
Reporting To One Of Our Business Lines (Big Science, Space - New Space, Or Defense And Security), Your Main Responsibilities Will Be As Follows
- Rapid and iterative planning.
- Monitoring of short milestones and incremental deliverables.
- Interface between sensor teams, embedded processing, ground segment.
- Electrical and software interfaces to platforms.
- Derive requirements from operational concepts.
- Define subsystem requirements for compact sensors and embedded algorithms.
- Optimisation for low-cost platforms and energy constraints.
- Management of partners and specialised start-ups.
- Tests in representative environments (thermal chambers, vibrations, radiation).
- Rapid validation in orbit via demonstrators.
- Compliance with NewSpace standards (time-to-market, modularity).
- Reporting to investors, commercial customers and agencies.
Profile
Do you have an engineering degree or Master's degree in space technology, electronics, or embedded AI?
Do you have a 3+ years experience in NewSpace projects or embedded systems?
Your knowledge of miniaturised sensors and FPGA target embedded systems is your strength?
Proficiency in real-time image processing on detection chains is one of your assets?
Are you passionate about optics and manufacturing technologies? Do you have excellent communication skills, both with teams and customers, and a remarkable ability to synthesize information? Are you fluent in English and ready to evolve in an international environment?
