What We are Looking For
We are recruiting a Space Software Solutions Engineer, with experience designing and implementing software solutions across multiple stacks, and a willingness to learn new programming languages. You should have a strong command of at least one of these technologies, and a desire to learn more: Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript. You will play a key role in our solutions department, including customer-facing activities, and work with clients to design and build solutions that include data processing pipelines, protocol handling, UI development, REST APIs, cloud services, and deployment technologies. You will develop applications in collaboration with a team of local and remote developers and continuously learn to choose the best solution as a team. You will work closely with clients to engineer their ground segment solution based on the Leanspace platform, with a focus on software engineering of operational satellite control systems. Experience and interest in the space sector are highly desirable.
Your profile
Your experience matters:
- +4 years of experience in software development, preferably using Java, Python, or Node.js
- Strong experience with at least one programming language, including Java, JavaScript, Python, and familiarity with others (Go, Rust, C#…). Proven ability to learn multiple programming languages for different projects
- Experience in one or more Space sector domains: systems engineering, space telecommunications and protocols (e.g., CCSDS, CSP), flight dynamics, spacecraft operations, ground segment engineering
- Experience working in a software development team, using source control tools, participating in design and code reviews, writing software tests
- Experience with REST-based API development and design: Swagger, OpenAPI
- Experience working in Agile Scrum teams

- Experience in systems integration and distributed architectures

- Experience with Terraform, Go
- Experience with Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, etc
