Your mission

Bonjour et bienvenue à Sungrow! We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Project Manager to join our team in France, contributing to our mission of clean power for all. This role is crucial for coordinating the execution of our utility-scale PV and ESS projects, ensuring their successful journey from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the execution of utility-scale PV and ESS projects from project handover through commissioning and final acceptance.
  • Monitor project schedules, deliverables, and milestones to ensure timely and efficient execution.
  • Act as the central point of coordination between internal departments, EPC contractors, suppliers, customers, and external stakeholders.
  • Support project planning activities, risk management, and issue resolution throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Ensure all project documentation, reporting, and contractual requirements are properly managed and compliant.
  • Assist in budget tracking and cost control activities, contributing to financial efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with French regulations, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards, and company procedures.
  • Support commissioning activities and operational handovers when required, ensuring smooth project transitions.
  • Prepare regular and insightful project progress reports for management and clients.

Your profile

All right, all right, that was intriguing, wasn't it? Now, in order to fit in this role and be happy for a long time, your ideal background should look a lot like this:

  • You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Bring 2–5 years of experience in project management or project coordination within the dynamic renewable energy industry.
  • Demonstrate proven experience with utility-scale solar PV projects and/or battery energy storage systems (BESS).
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills and exceptional capabilities in stakeholder management.
  • You are adept at working independently within a remote and international environment.
  • Possess excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, navigating challenges with ease.
  • Professional proficiency in French (C1) and English (C1) is mandatory, enabling seamless communication. You are willing to travel occasionally within France to support project needs.
