Project Director - FCDO Europe Region
- Manage regional P&L including purchase order creation, tracking, and contract administration.
- Achieve forecast accuracy within ±2% variance each quarter.
- Manage end-to-end forecasting process aligned with FCDO and account timetables.
- Lead monthly regional financial review calls with all necessary stakeholders.
- Oversee the accrual process and track actuals/invoices using JLL tools.
- Work with local finance teams to ensure complete and timely invoicing.
- Align business processes with FCDO approval workflows.
- Develop and maintain relationships with on-account teams across all 23 European countries.
- Build strong connections with key FCDO stakeholders including global heads and regional contract managers.
- Achieve customer satisfaction scores above 4/5.
- Ensure high standards of execution that meet all FCDO requirements.* **Strong background in principal contracting models and proven experience managing third-party delivery partners.**
- Minimum 10+ years in project management, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
- Proven track record managing large-scale, multi-country programs across Europe.
- Extensive experience in facilities management and workplace projects.
- Demonstrated P&L responsibility for accounts with minimum value of £10M+.
- Experience working with government or public sector clients, preferably FCDO or similar international organizations.
- Expert knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proficiency in JLL project management tools and reporting systems.
- Advanced financial management skills including forecasting, budgeting, P&L management, and accruals.
- Strong understanding of KPI/CPI metrics and performance management frameworks.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements across multiple European jurisdictions.
- Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and workplace transformation programs.
- Experience with End of Life asset management programs.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing project management resources across multiple locations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills at C-level and senior government official level.
- Exceptional ability to build and maintain relationships across complex organizational structures.
- Experience managing virtual and geographically dispersed teams across 23+ countries.
- Demonstrated conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional European languages an advantage).
- Superior presentation and reporting skills for senior stakeholder audiences.
- Strong negotiation and influencing capabilities.
- Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
- Experience driving initiatives and innovation within client accounts.
