Production Manager

Our client, a leading manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Production Manager to join their site leadership team.

Reporting into senior site leadership, the Production Manager will take full ownership of day-to-day production operations across the manufacturing site.

You will sit as part of the broader site leadership team and play a central role in driving operational excellence across the facility.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who is equally comfortable on the shop floor as they are in a leadership meeting - and who has the drive and capability to grow within the organization over time.

What you'll be doing

• Implementing and embedding Lean Manufacturing principles across production
• Managing shift planning, resource allocation, and scheduling across a complex operation
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Monitor production output (OEE), quality, and efficiency against key performance indicators.
• Adapting communication style from shop floor to senior stakeholder level with ease
• Contributing to site leadership decisions and longer-term operational strategy

What they're looking for

• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production reporting
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certification is advantageous
• Strong leadership and people development skills - you bring teams with you through change
• High resilience and the ability to manage complexity in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
• Fluency in both English and French
