Production Manager
Yibi Precision is a specialized manufacturing division of Yibi Group, focusing on advanced Metal Injection Molding (MIM) solutions for global industrial and technology-driven clients. We support applications across locks and security systems, power tools, consumer electronics, automotive components, medical devices, and other precision metal parts.
We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead and optimize our production operations. This role is responsible for managing daily manufacturing activities, improving production efficiency, ensuring quality consistency, and coordinating closely with engineering, quality, tooling, and supply chain teams.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in precision manufacturing, solid production management capability, and a practical understanding of how to balance efficiency, quality, delivery, and cost in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily production operations and ensure production plans are completed on time and according to quality requirements.
- Coordinate production scheduling, manpower allocation, equipment utilization, and workflow optimization.
- Monitor production efficiency, yield rate, defect rate, material usage, and delivery performance.
- Work closely with engineering and quality teams to improve process stability, product consistency, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement actions.
- Ensure proper execution of standard operating procedures, quality standards, safety requirements, and internal management systems.
- Lead, train, and motivate production team members to improve execution, discipline, and overall team performance.
- Support new product introduction, trial production, process validation, and mass production ramp-up.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to solve production issues and support customer delivery requirements.
- Promote lean manufacturing, cost control, and continuous improvement across the production floor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in production management within precision manufacturing, metal parts manufacturing, MIM, powder metallurgy, CNC, automotive components, electronics components, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of production planning, process control, quality management, and on-site team management.
- Experience with high-volume manufacturing and strict quality control environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement systems is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving ability and the capability to make practical decisions under production pressure.
- Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Results-oriented, detail-oriented, and able to drive execution on the production floor.
