Job Description:
Within a team of experienced Product Safety & Continued Airworthiness engineers, you will work on multiple programs and learn about the processes that regulate aeronautical safety and airworthiness follow-up.
Tasks & Activities:
- Review in-service events within the fleet, including those related to production issues impacting fleet safety, analyze root causes, and monitor incidents.
- Manage any hazardous conditions occurring within the fleet.
- Provide appropriate reporting on rare or critical events during reviews with expert panels.
- Present results during reviews with authorities (in English) or internally at Airbus.
- Analyze and follow up on the implementation of corrective actions.
You will be responsible for ensuring activities are completed on time and communicating progress to your project manager. Knowledge of continued airworthiness, Product Safety, and Safety Enhancement processes at Airbus is advantageous. Knowledge of aeronautical systems is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree from a top university or engineering school.
- More than 5 years of experience in aeronautical engineering.
- Specialization in aeronautics is preferred.
- Required knowledge: ARP 5150, Part-21A.3, Part-M, CS .
