Procurement Specialist

Yibi Group is expanding its sourcing and supply chain capabilities in the U.S. market. As a premium OEM/ODM manufacturer and long‑term strategic partner for international fashion and luxury brands, Yibi specializes in the development and production of high-quality stainless steel jewelry, bag hardware, and custom precision metal accessories.

About the Role

We are looking for a New York‑based Procurement Specialist to support supplier sourcing, vendor coordination, and procurement activities within the jewelry industry. This role will focus on identifying qualified suppliers, workshops, material resources, finishing partners, and industry service providers in the U.S. jewelry market, while coordinating closely with Yibi’s teams in China.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify suppliers, workshops, and industry partners in New York and across the U.S. jewelry market.
• Source materials, components, stones, chains, findings, surface finishing resources, packaging suppliers, and other jewelry‑related production resources.
• Manage supplier communication, quotation requests, cost comparison, sample coordination, and basic negotiation follow‑up.
• Collect key supplier information, including production capabilities, materials, finishing options, lead times, certifications, quality standards, and cooperation potential.
• Coordinate communication between U.S. suppliers and Yibi’s internal teams in China, including procurement, product development, technical, quality, and production teams.
• Support the early stages of product development, sampling, supplier evaluation, and project coordination.
• Monitor jewelry market trends, supplier resources, production capabilities, and sourcing opportunities in the U.S. market.
• Build and maintain a qualified supplier and partner database to support Yibi’s long‑term development in the jewelry sector.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, vendor management, or production coordination.
• Experience in the jewelry industry, fashion accessories, metal components, surface finishing, stones, chains, findings, or related supply chain fields.
• Good knowledge of the New York and U.S. jewelry supplier landscape.
• Ability to research, evaluate, and compare suppliers based on quality, cost, lead time, capability, and reliability.
• Strong communication, coordination, and follow‑up skills.
• Professional English required. Mandarin language skills are a plus.
• Current residence in New York or the surrounding area is required.

• Good understanding of jewelry materials, components, craftsmanship, finishing, and production processes.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience with jewelry manufacturing, stainless steel jewelry, fashion jewelry, fine jewelry components, or surface finishing would be highly preferred.
